Yeah, I assumed it either meant exit row or first class. They can’t charge extra for belt extenders because they’re mandatory safety devices. Perhaps overly large people should pay a ‘fat tax’ for a 1st class seat, but that’s another conversation altogether.

She was bumped by the ticketing system... it doesn’t know or care whose tickets you paid for, how much you paid for them, or what your race is. The treatment by the staff was inexcusable, but it wasn’t as if she got bumped because she was black and her friend got to stay in 1st because she was white...
