Looks like it’s at least partially because of this.

☑️ - Commentor is being idly shitty in the comments and insisting they’re right about their own misreading of the article.

well, you just parroted a definition straight from the dictionary champ

“I read the article” - no, you didn’t. I call BS on that, since reading the article would demonstrate that he explicitly DID know this would happen. Try again, honey bear.

From the article: Nichols was not so naive as to put his banana on Twitch sans protection. There was a language filter in place, but the GGX gang figured out how to trick it.

Gonna be frank, there are a lot of innocent people still left in the world. Even if they think “Well it’s a possibility” they don’t really think someone will do it to them.

why is twitch chat the worst? it’s a major turn off. i’m not that into watching streamers in the first place, but toxic ass communities just make it that much harder to give it a chance.

Them: “The all-digital future will be great! No one needs physical media anymore! Get with the program, olds!”

Me: “You won’t own a damn thing you purchase (not that we did with physical media either; dem EULAs), and eventually, companies will start selling your childhood back to you via subscription services.”

Them:

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a person this committed to embarrassing themselves.

More proof that Kanye was right. Today, sad white men are choosing to be owned.

Michelle’s response to someone else was pretty funny:

Sure, they’re the opponent for a little while, but after it’s all over we should be cordial.

It’s all a game to these people. Cillizza views Trump and his Goon Squad the same way the Pelicans view the Warriors. Sure, they’re the opponent for a little while, but after it’s all over we should be cordial.

This is the very heart of conservative politics in today’s America - white people, men, the rich, whatever demographic with power you want to call out, claiming victimization despite the fact that they hold all the cards. It’s infuriating, especially because it seems to work so damn well.

Like, four isn’t that big of a number.

God no, man. The obligatory black alternate, black trim, black drop shadow across every sport was terrible. I am very glad to see teams’ embracing their own colors again as they did in the 70s.

What’s really remarkable is that Nike/NBA does not call the jerseys “home” or “away” or “alternate.” No shit, every team’s (at least) four jerseys are “Icon,” “Association,” “City,” and “Statement.” I think the last two are alternates? Those teams with five jerseys have a “Classic Edition,” which means a throwback.

Three jerseys is the proper amount: home, away, alternate. Maybe break out some true throwbacks a few times a season.

> Most of the jerseys shown in the first image are no longer current.
