Agreed. And, this is a point never discussed, these new billion-dollar stadiums do NOTHING to enhance the TV experience for NFL fans. On TV, a game from Oakland is just as aesthetically pleasing as a game from new stadiums in Atlanta or Minnesota.

The problem is that they’re treating this as a free-to-play game when you’re paying $60 to $80 for a copy, and basically saying “oh, you don’t have the time to grind 40 hours? Throw money at loot boxes instead!”

I think it’s that you can either pay to unlock the content, or unlocking the content is super laborious, for a $60 game. They are making the content hard to unlock for free, trying to force users to pay to unlock it.
