Indeed; as much as I like F-Zero X it’s graphics aren’t terribly good, even in those screenshots I think Wipeout looks quite a bit better. That’s even by admission from it’s developers: they’ve openly stated that they sacrificed graphical capabilities so they could get the game to run at 60 FPS.

You know what they usually call players who show this much effort?

I wouldn’t. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’d love to for physical manuals to return, but I’m not gonna pay extra for it. In my country right now, brand new, AAA games cost $80; frankly that’s too much as it is!

FWIW I’ve always gotten a kick out of GamerGators accusing other people of being pedophiles, since one of their main hangouts, 8chan, is a notorious child porn hub, even being de-listed from Google search results because of it.
