I’m struggling to think of another example of a filmmaker whose career began so auspiciously, who so utterly and completely sold his soul and talent to become a director who’d have to improve in order to rate as a hack.

A few friends had a similar conversation with me not too long ago. I went to rehab and everything, and have been sober since. It really is crazy how much your life improves if you just let it. About to hit my 6 months sobriety date, which I know isn’t that long, but for me it’s a lifetime.

Yeah the trial season was my favorite! 

It was a shame because I think season 3 was it's best. But this season looks like a lot of fun, which is the ingredient S4 lacked so I'm hopeful.

I’m so very surprised that they’re doing a 5th season of Search. The drop in quality between seasons 3 and 4 was a kind of remarkable thing to behold. It’s not often that every aspect of a good show suddenly stops working.

Season 1 felt so much more focused, and the growth of the characters felt earned as the stories actually built on top of each…
