This fucker played chicken with 325 million American lives. I despise him.

My coworker and I started crying at our desks. When she got to the part addressing young girls, I started ugly crying. I’m literally having a daughter next week and I can’t believe this is the world we’re subjecting her to.

Is anyone else just not in the mood to deal with Trump supporters on here today? I can’t deal with them right now. I’ve been leaning on that dismiss button like crazy.

Jezzies, trolls are popping up all over the place this morning in the comment threads. Please do yourselves and everyone else a favor: when a troll replies to a comment of yours, please dismiss their comments! I know we are (rightfully) hurt and angry right now, but let’s not give these trolls the satisfaction that

Should be an interesting documentary, and a great example of moral guardians and politics dicking over an artist.

“You have dealt with an unbelievable slanted and negative media and have come out beautifully” sounds 0% like something Bill Belichick would say, and 100% like something Donald Trump would say while reading a blank page he is pretending is a letter from Bill Belichick.

The three-toed species is very gentle and dim. I’ve picked one up in order to put it back in a tree. The two-toed species are snarling, claw-swinging, biting maniacs when they are on the ground, and they move a fuck of a lot faster than anything named “sloth” should be able to.

I’ll hop in to ensure we properly credit Etsu Tamari. He’s the writer on this title and he knocks it out of the park. It’s a distinctly Eastern castigation of American’s excess that also happens to be a pretty darn good (if tragic) character study.

And people used to call Revengeance’s story bad.

Do I believe they called him “Diaper Don?”

Only sport that his hands allow him to play.

Sunshine is that rare Sc-fi movie that has an interesting premise, real science advisors, and amazing music.

You know, the last time Hiroyuki Sanada led a group of people in space, it didn’t work out so well. For them...

I’m thinking trainwreck, but then again, I couldn’t make it through XIII either; screw gaming evolution, I want my Final Fantasy’s with ATB, or at worst the weird system XII had.

Yes and yes. I watched that film(euro version) not expecting much but was extremely impressed, excellent character development which meant you genuinely cared about the terrible things that happened. Also, that moment when suspense and not seeing what was “out there” is left behind and you start to have sequences

Ditto, on all points. I watched The Descent without knowing anything, and I mean anything, about it. I hadn’t even really heard of it (it hadn’t been released in the US yet) and, tbh, I can’t even recall how or why I downloaded it and started watching. For the first 1/3rd of the movie, I honestly thought it was going

I saw The Descent at a film festival before it was released. And the description was something like “Friends go on a spelunking trip and have an adventure” So we were completely unaware of what was going to happen. The reaction of the audience was fantastic. One of the best filmgoing experiences I’ve ever had.

huh... it sounds better in the original German.

Conservatism is one thing, and though I disagree with most of it’s tenets, it is a valid system of political beliefs. Xenophobia and bigotry, on the other hand, are vile personality flaws that have no place in a healthy society. Blanket prohibition of immigration rights to an entire socio-religious ethnic group
