Totally missed that. Thank you. This just made my day.

I remember playing the Team Play mode on FIFA12 where each person controls a player. It was a bit of a clusterfuck since everybody played like a striker and hogged the ball, but if you have a group of friends who understand their roles it could be a lot of fun. Anyways, I'm all for a local multiplayer renaissance.

I liked most of the female responses to the article suggesting to try out gaming or find a mutual hobby to do together...except for that one person who pretty much blatantly said dress up and go cheat on your partner.

These aren't that bad, especially the Kanye one. But they're no Gold N' Fly or Ocarina of Rhyme either.

No problem. It's a really fascinating, in-depth look at Nintendo's ideologies and how they're still prevalent today despite all the corporate and industry changes over the past decade.

I agree wholeheartedly. They need to revise their mantra of doing things differently just to differentiate themselves from the competition. It worked with the Wii but the casual market's flocked to smartphones and tablets now. Towards the end of its lifespan, I used to really wish that Nintendo would invest the

I just got done reading the GCN post-mortem that was posted earlier and it's amazing how little their attitudes have changed over the years.

I'd like to change mine.

NOW YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS

Lol that's the same order I played them in when I picked them up during the Autumn sale but my sentiments regarding Dishonored were the complete opposite. I really loved the game and the freedom it offered you to approach the missions. I was hyped about Bioshock, but after playing Dishonored I was pretty let down by

Yeah, I noticed, but I've been super busy recently and I've been devoting most of gaming time to books.

Working my way through my Steam backlog that I've amassed over the Winter Sale. Should finish Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in the next couple of days and then I hope to complete Dragon Age: Origins and/or Fallout: New Vegas. Then I can devote most of my time next month to Bravely Default and Skyrim.

I'd really hate to be that kid going through grade school.

That sounds really tantalizing and I'd definitely buy the heck out of it. But I certainly wouldn't put that as a prediction for this year. Maybe if Nintendo were pushed into a corner. But, with Smash and Mario Kart coming out, I think this will be a pretty significant year for the Wii U (not necessarily in a good way

Money talks. That being said, I would've definitely invested my inheritance on something besides an eSports team.

Oh, I had no idea about his appearance on gametrailers. I've never really paid attention to him besides some ridiculous claims he made a few years ago. But you're definitely right about him sticking to financial outlets to broadcast his analysis. The last thing we need is further division.

As a gamer I hate the crap they spew too. But you have to take a step back and realize who their audience is: investors who probably have the most minimal of knowledge about the video game industry and care only for stock prices. They lap up "definitive" statements that clearly state winners and losers. It's certainly

Yeah, the guy has some "brilliant" insights. My favorite nuggets from his Nintendo section:
