My right-leaning uncle thought he was being clever once by saying that, and I asked him why republicans are such pussies and afraid to say fuck joe biden. I’m not too pussy to say fuck donald trump lol why are they such little sissy men. He did not appreciate that, and tried spinning it as them “being more classy” and

I just saw the full video. The officer couldn’t have blocked earlier because there was a person stopped on the left w a baby carriage. The officer 100% did the right thing protecting the public.

There is no likes and subscribes in that

A freaking sign ought to be enough to keep ATV’s out, but people are just assholes. If we start putting up bollards and fences and moats around everything we want to keep the stupid people out of, we’d run out of money and manpower in short order.

I am failing to see how the cop did not do *exactly* the right thing here. If moron was going too fast to stop in time to not hit a very plainly visible cop car, he was going too fast to not hit a pedestrian. Not like he came around a blind corner and there was the cop.

If you were going too fast to avoid a stopped car, you were going too fast to avoid a pedestrian. I’m good with this one.

I’m normally on the ACAB side, but I’m really struggling to be displeased with what the cop did here.

Sorry everyone. I am an old.  Replace “free” with “cheap” and the point still stands.

Nah its the age old answer to the question of how to bolster the share price of a company with flagging sales. Job cuts look good to short term investors as an immediate reduction in outgoings without considering the long term effect on the companies growth of their role.

He’d been on the road for too long and thought I flipped him off, instead of waving.

My only fear would be projectile debris coming through the glass.

I’d rather face a tornado in a locomotive than every other vehicle I’ve ever driven, half the houses I’ve lived in and two thirds of the stores I’ve ever worked in.

His insistence on this stupid point leads me to believe that A) they missed making some important connections to get other kinds of sensors into their design and supply chain, B ) he thinks he can wring the absolute ish out of each model’s existing contents to keep production costs low and speed up while raising

Exactly. I thought autonomous cars were supposed to be better than people. Isn’t that what he always says??

Autonomy should strive to be better than humans and that encourages using added sensors to perceive things we can’t.

Even by his usual standards that’s a particularly stupid argument.

Thank goodness eyes and cameras aren't susceptible to optical illusions.

A dozen cops for one stolen ca . . . Oh.

To be fair, A Knight’s Tale is a pretty by-the-number underdog sport flick too. It just managed to take that generic core and add enough flourish to make it feel fresh and fun. So theoretically they could do the same with that pitch.

I love A Knight’s Tale to bits, but it doesn’t need any sequel. It’s perfect as the stand-alone “sports movie for absolute nerds” that it is.
