You noticed that little business model trick.  All of your cars have separate insurance costs but you can only drive one at a time, which brings up the question of why you’re paying for something that’s not being used.

Driving on the road with other people.

I suspect the vehicles were bought because “everyone else” had them and maybe a little bit of the dreaded “you got something nice and new so I do too” marriage dynamic.

It was a huge waste. If they weren’t beholden to his insane design choices, they could have had a more conventional truck design out and selling at least 2 years sooner, and it would be selling so much better. So much so that Rivian probably wouldn’t have stood a chance.

The melting point of steel is higher than the temperature of a boat!11!!”

Or it’s just a great opportunity to promote themselves and get some YT money.

These guys use Occam’s dull butter knife instead of razor to figure things out with. If there’s a 0.01% chance something caused an event they decide everything is that sliver not the 99.99% chance of reality known as “shit happens” when fallible humans or our creations are involved in any way.

Whyyyyy are we giving more press to these morons?  Stop it!

Every single conspiracy wacko I have ever met has been incapable of handling uncertainty, chance, bad luck, chaos and randomness. They are such control freaks that they cannot handle that bad shit just happens. Effing small minded cowards.

I wish I was shameless enough to con rubes like this. Damn my grandma for installing me with a rudimentary sense of self respect and keeping me poor at the same time.

It’s clearly people gunning to get a Tik-Tok ASAP of the bridge collapse from up close. I’d argue an even more odious brand of idiot than one who is simply trying to go around barricades to get where they (think they are) going.

It’s pretty funny to say things like “I’ll hand it to Trump - Operation Warp Speed was a huge success that saved a lot of lives” and watch their brains go into meltdown.

I’ll never cease to be amazed at how quickly conservatives went from sucking Trump’s cock because the Covid vaccine was made available during his presidency and saying what a medical miracle it was, to immediately doing a complete 180 when Biden won and saying how it’s going to kill you and turn you gay or w/e.

How did the explanation of mask wearing get so screwed up? I wear this for your protection, just say thank you!

This story is emblematic how so many people in this country love freedom for themselves, but then refuse to grant that same freedom to others. I am sure he cited ‘freedom’ as a reason not to get vaccinated. But then here he denies this other person freedom to wear a mask.

I’ll say the Magnum. I rather liked it when it first came out, a wagon, and they even made an SRT version from it. But now it just looks so plain jane. The front looks like a conglomeration of different cars; I see a Chrysler 300 in the front mixed with a chevy uplander of all things, And the SRT grille makes it look

I nominate the 1st generation Cadillac CTS.   Exterior and Interior just didn’t look good.  Too much going on on the exterior and the interior just looked cheap, like it belonged in a Chevy.  The CTS was the test car for Art & Science theme and then got nicely cleaned up with the STS and the 2nd generation CTS.

Like the Thunderbird, the Lincoln LS was built on the Jaguar S-Type platform, which was under Ford’s “Premium Automotive Group” ownership at the time. The LS had completely generic and forgettable styling for an early 2000s luxury sedan.
