Ah yes, you are right. I think that the guy who bought the trailblazer was talking about them making an I5 version of the same motor and over the past 18 years I melded those facts.

To be fair it is a dumb generation designator.
As a mechanical engineer who sometimes teaches chemical engineers, it is absolutely amazing how little intuition about the physical world a very smart person can have.
My neighbor’s a chemical engineer which made me give him more credit for acumen regarding the physical world than deserved. He had a nice early 10's manual shift Civic Si with a dead engine; I could never get a clear story from him about what he’d done I just know it was taken away on a flatbed to never return. What I…
While spacers are garbage it doesn’t need to be a spacer to cause extra wear. People change stance with terrible wheel offsets also.
Twitter users have suggested that it was probably a wheel spacer or lug nut that failed and set the truck’s wheel free.
Reminded me of Bob Barker in Happy Gilmore.
Helix Auto Works’ YouTube channel has just under 11k subscribers. As of right now, the video has over 22k views. They bought it to make content and get clicks. I don’t know if they’ll end up making money off this gamble, but it’s worth a shot.
The constant shit-talking about people that drive trucks and large SUVs. I totally get that a lot of readers here are more urban based, and as such have to deal with parking lots stuffed up by giant pickups and SUV, not being able to see past them in traffic, etc.
I usually take that argument as telling people to buy a cheaper car and get winter tires for it instead of feeling like they have to spend the extra money on an AWD car.
That’s the corollary to “this job is only going to take me 45 minutes, an hour tops.”
“This motor swap will be cheap. I can use mostly junkyard parts”
A Jeep Wrangler would make a good drag racer because of low gearing and a torquey motor.
Camaro electric CUV announcement in 3...2...1...
“Maybe make a Tesla without that shit for cheaper?”
I hate frivolous lawsuits and ambulance chasers just as much as you do, but you are so far off the mark here, my friend. I’m not going to blast you on it, but please read up on the bare minimums in training that all cabin crew must be current in just to be certified by the FAA for US carriers.
Except that most places aren’t 32,000 feet in the air, sealed in a tube, with no immediate access to emergency services.
Yeah as they are required I can see that their suit has merit. Odd that an aircraft wouldn’t have some sort of procedure for checking this as I would assume that the AED was FAA approved and that comes with a lot of paper and tasks
Although if you have an AED on board, it is reasonable to assume it would be properly maintained.
