I think the exact opposite. North sounds like a normal person with a filter, Dinklage sounds like a machine.

I didn’t laugh at that as much as I cringed... as I’ve been doing for a lot of Nolan’s versions of the lines. So far I prefer Dinklage for about 80% of what I’ve heard. With that said. It’s the voice of a robot, I’m not sure inflection and emotion is needed. Dinklage’s awkward monotone performance seemed to fit the part.

Other than the octave, I don’t really see one as being meaningfully different (let alone BETTER) than the other. Which is good? I guess? I thought North sounded worse the first time I heard his lines. Now I just don’t understand why a change was necessary. Probably money.

They’re both alright with me, Dinklage’s low tone is fine and North makes Ghost sound more like Guilty Spark which is also A-OK.
