Re: Excitement of pitstops.
Perhaps the CDC is maintaining their stance because inhaling just about anything other than filtered air is hazardous to your lungs.
Not quite a barn find, but a buddy let me know if a great condition blue (!!!) Chrysler Conquest on the other side of town (I already had one at the time).
I drove by to find it was a Daytona. Close in styling dude, I’ll grant you that.
I had to come back here to give a star. After a couple minutes of laughing over this, I felt you deserved it.
You’d think they’d change up the locking mechanism of the G80 to include something like a viscous clutch so it’d at least offer some limited action until it locked tight.
If that’s your big complaint I’d say GM is doing interiors just fine.
Yup, hard to beat the Coleman Cooler inspired interior of a Super Duty.
I think the operator literally just stood on the brakes; you can see where the guy with the fire extinguisher walked around to the other side of the car and shot the right brake once. I doubt he’d do that if the right brake wasn’t glowing.
Edit: I had typed up I thought the box on the middle axle was just a bearing carrier only to find I had missed where David drew the same conclusion.
Do you seriously think rolling back the standards will actually reduce the cost of cars? Cost to produce, maybe, but I all but guarantee manufacturers will just pocket that.

Do they? I know you can cache maps, but last I recall that was done manually. Otherwise I had the impression that anytime I pull up Google Maps it’s using a small amount of data to fetch the map backgrounds.
I’m not dismissing a Crossover as a performance car. I’m questioning why they would use the Mustang as inspiration; I’m assuming they meant the styling.
A Mustang inspired crossover.
Full caveat: I did a major edit after I first replied.
I made a mistake in how it’s billed. Their demand charge is $9 per kW for the highest average usage in any 60 minute period from 2pm to 7 pm weekdays each billing month. So say I decide to run my clothes dryer during this period and it draws 4 kW, my bill will have an extra $36 demand charge on it. Doesn’t matter if I…
