Westar in Kansas is much the same. It used to be that going solar would have a decent ROI, but Westar got the state to change a couple rules:

Oh definitely, I’m 6'4" and I love the car, but I also rarely carry people in the back seat. With someone behind me it’s a bit miserable.

Hey hey hey, watch that last one!

It’s not really a crock that they’re easier to get into. It’s the difference between a vehicle where you pretty well move horizontallly into the seat versus one where you have to crouch and lower (more like drop) yourself into. It’s especially more difficult in cars where the B-pillar is shifted a fair bit forward on

Yup, my wife’s main motivation to get a SUV (honestly, she has a crossover) is that it’s easier to get in and out of and she prefers the higher seating position.

Battle Bots really proved to me that a DVR was a necessary thing in my life.

While your faith in me is certainly appreciated, I can assure you it is greatly misplaced!

I think the third or fourth time my head finds the corner of one of those, the novelty will have worn off.

I’ve always loved the Corvette’s obvious catering to just the driver. It just seems right for that kind of car.

You cite that I should check the numbers, yet all you link are some cherry picked examples. Of course there are examples of ICE cars that have caught fire while parked. I never once said it would never happen or doesn’t happen.

Tesla has said its EVs are about 10 times less likely to experience a fire than petrol-powered cars.

At least when Valtra set a record they used a production tractor, albeit with different settings in the engine to produce more power and settings in the CVT to allow more speed.

They took a production tractor and with nothing more than software did 81 mph. On the ice. They even used off-the-shelf production tires.

I’m guessing because it was part of the lyrics and they apparently had permission to use those it was OK.

This is much my thought. The Trailblazer name never earned a good reputation to begin with and the Blazer name already died with a whimper on the S10 platform.

I almost want to give GM a gimme on the steering rack. The issue was this very faint “hitch” just off center in certain conditions. It never caused any driving issues and most people didn’t notice it, but once I did I couldn’t ignore it.

I recall advising my sister to buy a used Focus as I had a number relatively small issues with my Cruze at the time (window regulator, steering rack, water pump, intake manifold/valve cover). She’s had so many issues with her transmission that my Cruze is practically the pinnacle of fine engineering and manufacturing

This is excellent news for me. My wife won’t let me buy a station wagon because it resembles a hearse too closely; she currently drives a SRX and wants a XT5.

DuPont operated a cellulosic ethanol plant for a number of years using corn stover, but if I recall right the ethanol produced was used for detergents and not fuel (however some recent research suggests they did use it for fuel). They operated a private fleet of machinery to collect this stover on the hopes that

“LIDAR is a fools errand...”

The fifth generation 2011-2019 is a transverse layout and was sold as FWD or AWD.
