“...2019 was a big year for bad shipping stories; the Golden Ray and the Ever Given both happened a few months apart during the height of lockdown-addled boredom.”

Honestly, that would meet my expectations.

So you’re telling us he’s a cereal offender? Comer will be all over this!

It only looks futuristic if you’ve been living in the past.

Jolyon Palmer, James Hinchcliffe and David Coulthard, who alternate in joining Alex Jacques, are pretty good value. So is Will Buxton.

It has the option of the Sky commentary team but I’ve found the F1TV team less excitable and annoying personally. And as an example, when the Mercedes switched to softer tyres in Singapore Jolyon Palmer said Sainz would have to give Norris DRS to win. That was well before Sainz asked on the radio to be given the gap

I like watching it on F1TV Pro, which gives me the option of choosing between driver onboards, which I often do separately on my phone while watching the main feed on my TV or desktop, and listening to the F1TV commentary team which I prefer to the Sky one.

I think the times are also pitched at Asian fans as potential Vegas tourists. Being on the US east coast I’ll be sleeping through it. Qualifying is 3-4am FFS. And given how the track is looking I won’t be in any particular rush to watch it Sunday.

Mullins also drastically understated his earnings from his company, only including the salary he paid himself rather than all the dividends and other earnings he received.

I was doing that in the past but have found the F1TV commentary team far less excitable, more knowledgeable and down to earth. For example, Jolyon Palmer said well before Sainz’s radio message in Singapore about wanting to be kept informed of the gap to Norris that he’d need to give Norris DRS to avoid the Mercedes

I subscribe to F1TV. They have their own pre race show and their own commentary team plus your choice of driver onboards. You also have the option to watch with the Sky commentary team, but why would you?

This isn’t so unusual in Floriduh. I took this in my father in law’s development last year.

My first thought when I saw the title, hours after you did though. Glad someone said it at least!

Re the first, Z06 video - Why did you turn (over)?

It’s good of them to be up front about being for 80's and 90's cars. That way I’d know not to bother going to them.

But will they build them? Because they’re the ones who are going to have to foot the huge bill to turn the data into reality, and just hope that it ends up being viable enough for them to recoup their investment.

NASA thinking there may be a business case and someone actually putting up the funding to develop the planes from the initial concept stage they’re just starting to work towards are two very different things. I won’t be holding my breath.

The McLaren was a POS, which Lando said even after doing well with the upgrades at Silverstone. He said it was still “pretty terrible” and “extremely difficult to drive in slow corners”. I’d liken it to playing guitar well with a right handed guitar and then being told you had to play one that was strung left handed -

Huh, I guess it really does cut the mustard (Grey Poupon of course) as a getaway car.

McLaren’s F1 driver lineup looks to remain the same for at least the next season, so perhaps as Palou is cruising to his second IndyCar championship their reserve driver position didn’t look so enticing. Can’t say I blame him.
