I wish Ubisoft would just make their games exclusive to Uplay at this point. Steam is just an extra unnecessary layer of DRM that can be bypassed just by buying the game on Uplay.

You implied that if Rockstar removed their games from Steam, people would riot, which isn’t the same as going after third party exclusives. Blizzard, EA, Ubisoft, and Steam already have first party exclusives to their platforms.

And gamers never liked that either. Exclusives don’t benefit consumers at all.

Civ5 is worse than Civ6 in almost every way. The AI is at the very least about the same. I don’t know what you mean by obsession with yields. All Civ games are about maximizing yields. And they at least got rid of that terrible universal happiness mechanic from Civ5.
