Right now in a galaxy far, far away...
I honestly don’t even have a memory of it.
This comment didn’t age well.
If only I’d waited an extra year before ordering the DVDs and Mask of the Phantasm on Blu-ray... hell, if only I’d waited a few more months when it was announced.
Sounds like Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur, which was just a generic fantasy movie with some light Arthurian references.
Laserface1242, I’m just following your advice. “Remember to just dismiss their comments.” when your comment added nothing but making personal assumptions and attacks towards me. Who cares that no one saw you launch a personal attack against me for daring to suggest that verbally attacking someone online isn’t the same…

Even if—despite your insane lack of reading comprehension and inability to identify context cues—what you say is true, she still deserved to be fired for how she acted, even if their worst crime was “mansplaining.” Nevermind that women have said she’s harassed them too, probably because she assumed their gender. If…
Because why should he get fired for that? I know you’re trying to equate it to Jessica Price’s firing, but it’s not the same thing. This was just an innocuous tweet. It’s the exact opposite of her tweets. She was fired for insulting innocent people who were just trying to discuss game design with her, calling them…
Holy shit, are you me? I agree, and I’ve been saying those things since it came out. Terrible editing. I hate the choppy fight scenes too that look like they were directed by Michael Bay. At the end, Batman and Gordon stand over Dent as he possibly bleeds to death from a head injury and try to come out with their…
The irony is she’s the one acting like a special snowflake and as if fans aren’t worthy of her time or attention. Which makes it all the more ironic that she puts so much time and effort taunting fans in public. Anyone who acts like that in the real world to their customers is going to be fired and should be.…
I think Price definitely deserved to be fired, but Fries firing is more questionable, and it’s hard to say why he did. Maybe he refused to apologize. Maybe ArenaNet wanted to make an example out of him too or didn’t want Price to seem like she was fired because she’s a girl and he wasn’t because he’s a guy. No one…
A developer attacked several fans without justification. It wasn’t simply because an online mob demanded it. The community was pissed at her behavior and ArenaNet values its community because without them, there’s no game.
ArenaNet caved to community pressure ...
It’s a fact that she celebrated the death of TotalBiscuit. It’s also a fact that she has a history of attacking and threatening people on Twitter with no cause.
I can’t think of a story reason for all three of them being the same room talking to a psychiatrist that isn’t stupid.
Your screen name is fitting with a take like that. Even sadder that so many people have starred it. People are “consenting” by logging into the game, and he’s playing the game by its own rules the way it was meant to be played. If anything, he never consented to the made up rules these fans seem to follow.
Maplestory might be the first MMO I played. I remember I installed it because a friend (I don’t even remember who) wanted me to play it with them. I think it was still in beta at the time. I liked it at first, but it introduced me to all of the things I’d find I hate about MMOs that have since made me swear them off.
Unless it involves Blomkamp directing his Alien movie, then I don’t care.
But the flip side is that, if “we believe that employing this person is damaging to the company” is cause for termination, then it means that if a significant enough subset of your customers is coordinated enough, they can exert their will to, say, push a racist or sexist agenda on the company.
