Here is perhaps the most sobering thought about car sales as a career: everyone in the profession can be replaced by a well-crafted web interface.

Literally any job with a commission payment structure is cutthroat and catty. And the people that last the longest and are the most successful are the ones who are the most cutthroat and the most catty. That’s the problem with any sales position.

Even with a radar detector/laser 1 kph would be difficult to enforce due to a host of things that could lead to a 1 kph (.6 mph)variance, which is why when you get dinged with these it is for typically being significantly over the speed limit so that there is no discussion to be had.

And if the radar/lidar isn’t kept up to date and calibrated correctly you end up with something like a +/- 3mph margin of error which is why only a complete asshole would pull you over for a speed within the moe.
