It’s F1, they need ALL the downforce. It’s only a matter of time before the tires are wings too.
You’d think the professionals could afford to make it look nicer...
Still, they’re an F1 team. They’re supposed to be good at this (and they probably are, it’s just that this rendering doesn’t look great).
That’s what’s so striking about it. You’d think they would have come up with some way to make it more attractive.
Carbon fiber is actually really, really, ridiculously sturdy. Not that I’d recommend making anything stucturally important too thin.
It’s mostly the placement and shape of the, er, windshield? It’s too far forwards, it trails off too early, and it’s awkwardly placed.
Except, you can’t walk or bike out of a prison.
Wow, that’s probably one of the worse ways to implement this.

Inspired by arcadey racing games, I thought that maybe replacing the standard gas and brake pedals with a “go forwards, slow down going backwards” pedal and a “go backwards, slow down if going forwards” pedal would be a good idea. A few years of commuting have shown me exactly how bad of an idea that would be.
Instead of seeing a face, I saw a squatting figure with a horrible kink in their legs. Cannot unsee.
Not sure why there’s a video of NFS Most Wanted stuck to this great song...
