I played WoW, hit 80, and then I realized the only thing to do was to get gear. It's boring, and after I get the gear, what should I do? Get gold to purchase things that aren't nearly as good as my gear? Repetitive PvP? It's just no fun, and I wish World PvP was still mainstream.

I was a little dissapointed in Civ V, but it should get better with time. I believe vanilla Civ IV had quite a few issues as well.
