Nah, it's just anything controlled. I think aerosol paint is controlled because people huff it, and I've had the same issue with compressed air. It's not a problem to go to other stores, but it's a pain since it defeats the purpose of a one-stop-shop (Wal-Mart's not nearby, while my Target is 5 min from the house).

Yeah, but the point is that I'm disallowed from using an ID that can't be scanned (i.e. a military dependent ID, which still has DOB on it). It's creepy - at least in my eyes - when the cutoff for "valid ID" is "we can scan it into our database."

Man, Target is the worst for buying anything with age verification. I love the store but won't buy anything like paint, beer, medicine, etc. there. I've even tried giving a government ID so that they can't swipe it (it doesn't have a barcode to read), but they just turn me away if they can't trap my information.

Pedant alert: "throes" of passion.

Like the what from deer meat?

It bothers me more than anything that they timed the first explosions on downbeats instead of the cymbal upbeats.

Yeah, except they include "Shadowrun Returns," which is a game that's still in production.

No, Peter Parker. Reasonable guess given the handle, though. Were you one of those illustrious few too?

Hey neat, this guy was one of our four-square group at college. I thought I recognized his face.

Waitasec, doesn't this end with a killscreen that saves the world from terrorists? And Rush is involved?

It's used once every never. I've only ever seen it in print or heard it in movies - it doesn't enter any regional U.S. dialect.

"Whinging" isn't a misspelling - we spell it "whining" here, but "whinging" is still a word.

They didn't close that off in SWBF2. You're thinking of the tunnel that went from the shield generator to one of the mid CPs - the tunnel that goes from the hangar is still there. The part that's caved-in is the path to the back of the map, which is only used in the campaign and hunt modes (which was a new area for

Yeah, I agree - I didn't say it couldn't be done, only that it's not there now. The issue is that it presents a roadblock to any TV exec looking at possibilities, because given the choice between TV-ready programming (i.e. any activity with built-in breaks) and something that falls outside the standard mold, they'll

I can't see e-sports fitting a television programming model until they integrate some meaningful way to take mid-match breaks. Right now, there's no allowance for commercial breaks, which is what really makes a sport viable for TV.

This was Amazon's Android App of the Day a long time ago, and I picked it up then. My only real issue might be that I wish this game were more overtly just the music-puzzle parts instead of having to "earn" the ability to play the music puzzles by doing a hidden-object search.

That's fair, but it's worth keeping in mind that the word "bro" is generally accepted as a verbal abbreviation of "brother" as well. A more apt comparison might be pronouncing "Dr." as "doc."

This isn't, strictly speaking, a reenactment of the "N64 Goldeneye." They call it "Goldeneye Source 64: The Movie," which assumedly means that they based it off of Goldeneye Source (which is itself a retread of the 64 version).

Haven't you guys already been posting all of these in the Sunday Comics?
