I would contend that extrapolation in defiance of already-existing evidence is wrong.

That was used in seasons 2, 3, or 4, can't remember which one. The first season (and later seasons) used the "clips of actors and then they walk through the gate together" opening.
So throw the baby out with the bathwater? There are JRPG's in which I wouldn't trade the voice actors for text (including Lost Odyssey, which had pretty good VO in addition to its moving short stories). "Some games do it badly so no games should do it" is a pretty broad generalization.
Hey, if you're stealing software to make your game, not only are you not legally allowed to distribute content made with that software, the argument for "I shouldn't have to pay for this" falls flat (since you're already not paying for something you should be).
Oh no I read that in Aku's voice.
I was wondering where this article was on io9 after I saw it on Kotaku (given the persons involved).
But the Klingons did destroy the Enterprise:
Yeah, that wasn't a criticism of Darkside at all. I was bemoaning the state of things that allow for someone to simply do what they've been asked and then be reamed for it because of misplaced ire. It's a designer distancing himself from something he didn't have his hands on and didn't want, and it places the blame on…
I get that he's criticizing the publisher, but it must suck to have worked on this at Darkside Studios: "We didn't want what we asked you to make, and we hate it. Also your work is cancer."
Maria Hill: How I Met Nick Fury?
The best FF this gen is Lost Odyssey (and it's a genuinely great Final Fantasy game). They still exist, they're just called different things.
IANA(Nutritionist?), but I suspect that most of your weight loss simply comes from you being more attentive to your diet, regardless of the change you made.
My favorite A-Team (actually the Star Wars Magnum PI is even better):
How is the GBA port any less close than the Wii port? They're both the same game (and unless you're playing with a classic controller, the GBA is probably closer control-wise). Not sure if you just mean the "living room experience."
Or perhaps Link to the Past on your GBA, which you could legitimately play at work (the degree of legitimacy afforded obviously dependent on your workplace rules).
Their reasoning is probably just "it's an interesting story." It's not like there's no precedent of preexisting stories coming to film and then being eminently watchable.
Isn't a "keen, intelligent" and "sinister, tactical" Darth Maul pretty much what we saw in Episode 1 (if we were to be applying any adjectives to a pretty thinly-fleshed-out character)? He wasn't melodramatic and he wasn't stupid - he used stealthy minions to find the heroes, he attacked them when they weren't prepared…
She was obviously thinking of Nayru's Harp of Ages. I can see how she might get the two confused.
They mention that as a weakness of their model in the article, but it's a good point to remake, nevertheless.
Intentional double-Goldblum reference? Very nice.
