Sony's about to perform the Voight-Kampff on everyone.

@Strakus: You know - and this is a digression from the original topic - but I was watching an episode of DS9 the other night ("To the Death" - which is another decent look at the Jem'Hadar), and it hit me exactly how much of an emotional rock Worf would have had to be for the duration of two series. He was patronized…
Today, pyramids. Tomorrow, a Stargate.
@AngriestGeek: I dunno, it looks like a sci-fi themed Twilight Zone episode to me. I suppose, though, there is no debating with you. Sorry for not knowing the one possible reason for writing a story like that, as mandated by you.
@AngriestGeek: The point was to tell an interesting story. It's just a drawn-out bit of black humor, which is what things like Star Wars tales give authors freedom to do.
You know, it didn't occur to me until now, but Freddie Prinze and that blond-haired gent teamed up later on as Freddie and Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo movie.
@AngriestGeek: Hey man, not to ad hominem, but talk about not paying attention to what this is: this isn't supposed to be a team-up. That's not what SW Tales is about - they're just authors playing with the sandbox of Star Wars, and a whole ton of them are non-canon.
"...where we cut out your tongue if we don't like your face - it's barbaric, but hey - it's home!"
@PTTSeven: ...and then we put all the nuclear weapons in the world on the moon.
@Befitzero: Probably a little bit of column "A," a little bit of column "B." There are some gems for Android, but you have to do a bit of searching to sort through the rest.
On the other hand, if the Japanese word for bread, "pan," sounds similar to the Spanish word for bread... "pan," it's because your ears are working properly, since they're the same word. Which is no doubt an example of the word coming full-circle back to its Latin roots.
The trick to remember here (as in many cases) is that there is another human being on the other end of the phone. Just like with any group of people, there are nice ones and there are rude ones. While the service industry isn't conducive to being perpetually upbeat and friendly, the ones that are nice are generally…
@Darigaazrgb: It felt no worse or better than what I saw in Mass Effect. Maybe it's because I don't play a lot of shooters, but it seemed fun enough.
Felt like the comic game list was missing Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. That was a pretty well-received game, right?
@Spaceboy: Get mad at whom? The 99% paid him and those like him that 90% of the wealth by supporting their largely (socially) frivolous endeavors.
@Tuxed: It's almost certainly Canada, since that's where Bioware originated.
@RmerX: The most objectively responsible thing to do would be to simply assess if you are genuinely better at the job than someone around you. If you are, no matter how long they have been working there, then you're the logical choice to keep.
@mattcoz: That was transwarp, not Warp 10. You know, the Borg's "I heard you like warp so I put a little warp in your warp."
If you've ever worked in sales, you know that a sale is a sale - no matter what the item is, it goes towards your bottom line. I've never worked at a video game retailer, but no matter where you work, you're going to have your opinions on the product you sell. The rule of thumb is that if you like something, let your…
