@shawnwilkesbooth: I think it's a little sad (and I mean this to imply that I am sad for you, not that you are colloquially "pathetic") that you and others let new material ruin the old.

@HektikLyfe: Interesting fact about the word "rupture" that to you "fit[s] in perfectly." Rupture is almost always a single instantaneous event. "Decay" is probably more apropos, unless I am completely misunderstanding your agreement with the original poster.

@im.thatoneguy3: Well in that vein (and this is all in the interest of playing devil's advocate), just because a revolution (or rebellion, choose your label) is taking place, that doesn't necessarily mean that the government has always broken its own laws yet. The generation of a "revolution" could just as easily be a

@im.thatoneguy3: Not to negate the meat of your post, which is true, but, as far as I understand it, the proposed "kill switch" is proposed to shut down the Internet between foreign countries and the U.S. in case of an attack. The intra-national 'net would still be up.

@Yui Hirasawa: That was what I was saying, and what the link I posted said.

@Boomaga: Even if you discount profit (which as a business, would be irresponsible - but that's not key here), they're obviously giving the most amount of people what they want. If more people want a 2D platformer, who is a company to argue?

@scootly: Both are dated back to the 1500s, but the Uffizi portrait's records have been traced to the 1700s, while the other portrait is a comparative newbie with a pedigree only known back to the 1880s.

@an9elus: Not to put too fine a point on it, but how are your dictionary-reading skills?

@glwtta: And then you've brought it back. Well done.

@V: They're also spaced super-far-apart, which at first made me think there were five, and I was like - what is that even supposed to be?

Oh, the NGP. Of course.

@GodinHeaven: I suppose when one say that "everyone who likes what I don't like smells bad" I feel the need to make a small note of it. Sometimes the silliness of that kind of comment genuinely escapes the people writing it.

I can't be the only person bothered by the use of the wrong movie's music - or at least the wrong trilogy. Hearing PT music in an OT context (or vice versa) can't bother only me - right? Right?

@GodinHeaven: I don't know how to break this to you, but almost everyone has eaten a Happy Meal at some time or another.

@Kevster: You're absolutely right in that staying calm is a great way to throw a person who's lost his cool off his guard - however, if an argument has come to a point where it's become a battle to be "won"or "lost," it's already a lose-lose situation for all. If a person turns an argument into a battle in which only

@etchasketchist: I know nothing about this game, is it supposed to be a new character? If not, couldn't it simply be Ink?

@TheCowboyPoet: Just played through ME2 for the first time about a week ago. Running in to Ashley and her reaction felt a lot more normal, since she was my romance option in the first game - it smacked a lot of shock and inability to react.
