Everyone is stupid except for me.

Am I the only one who suspects that NL fans, like Nats fans for instance, are also the ones voting in crappy Royals players into the game so they can have a better chance at home field advantage?

This is generally more of a bicycle kick than overhead kicks are. Like, you aren’t upside down when you ride a bike.

Only if you assume that the non-athlete students are paying 100% of tuition, which 85% of students in this country do not do.

I don’t think that they are motivated entirely by additional revenue, quite the opposite. I think the article would be right to point that out.

Anyone who has worked with admissions would tell you that there is no chance that UAB, or any university, is literally full and therefore turning away students who A) would pay full tuition and B) don’t have low test scores/expected performance levels that would have a negative impact on their numbers.

You’re making the assumption that universities are already hitting their maximum allotment of potential students, which they aren’t. Take UAB for example - they’ve added student every year for 6 consecutive years. Even logical ceilings like available dorm space and class sizes are negotiable.

It, in fact, is usually not the case. UAB itself admitted that it is not hitting its recruitment goals.

Oh man, I’ve missed your soccer posts, Greg.

Spiderman 2. I hated it, thought it was boring and slow. Much preferred the first one.

Nice try, but he warned us about you people.
