Well, uh, if the world is still there after this disaster is over, maybe we will have enough political capital to push through a “no inexperienced rich fucks allowed to run for President” amendment. (And one establishing abortion as a fundamental human right, of we’re at it.)

I really think there should be a show where Trump and a random person off the street are asked questions about current events and policy. Even knowing how stupid the average person is, I bet they would still know more than the President.

One time, I forgot about a presentation I had in fourth grade. I didn’t research or read anything. Totally forgot about it for weeks. I did my best to wing it, but I only fooled the other idiot kids in the room, not my teacher. Every time Trump speaks, I hear that presentation.

I love how the guy puts his foot on the brakes and attempts to back up at 0:22.

The reverse lights coming on has got to be the funniest expression of futility I’ve ever seen.

It always amazes me how some people have absolutely no survival instincts whatsoever.

That’s dumb on so very many levels. EVERY character has an issue with not aging over the years so why bother to explain it for one. And then the most ridiculous one of all. Being an alien any birthday you give for Superman either has to be based on when he got to Earth which would have nothing really to do with his

Kesha needs to get back into a studio and give Sony six albums ASAP, all about being raped and drugged and victimized by Sony and Dr. Luke. Since she’s feeling the pain and the style now is to release quickly put together albums (unless you’re Rihanna), it could be good therapy and give them exactly what they deserve.

I think I agree with you. I mean, was there ever meant to be an ending to this thing? Every chapter is practically a new plot with new characters. Even if someone else sits on the throne, what is going to happen to the rest of the people in the story? You think they will be happy with that? These books never had an

George in 1981: “If I were really cynical I would start some medieval sword and sorcery thing, say it’s a trilogy, then keep writing it for the rest of my life.”

Given Heilein’s statements after the book, it seems fair to assume that he more or less supports the philosophical arguments made therein. It’s probably more accurate to point out that the book isn’t necessarily fascist and to claim that it is misrepresents/overstates the arguments Heinlein was making.

Added wrinkle: the book was basically advocating the militarism and fascism that the movie mocks. So Verhoeven’s satire wasn’t just trolling Hollywood and the viewer, he was trolling Heinlein’s source material as well.

The new Iron Man series is a pleasant enough read, but once again Bendis has fixated on story ideas that gain their interest from continuity instead of motives rooted in character or plot. The question of what Doom is up to seems less interesting than the question of what Marvel is up to.

It’s depressing, for sure. A major issue with American politics (besides the corruption and power brokering inherent to all politics, everywhere, as well as the naked pandering almost solely to the interests of corporations and the wealthy) is how compromised, unsatisfactory, uninspiring and basically shitty our

How you people ever got conned into believing that you have Left- and Right-wing parties is beyond me. You only have Right and Further Right.

In name only. In practice you have an oligarchy.

“... the only difference between him and a Republican is that he says he’s not one.”

Villain cameos? Umm... Hello... Batman Begins and The Dark Knight?
