Melvin’s Classic Ford Parts has a lot of Ranchero parts. I get stuff for my ‘65 from them. Body parts seem to be the things that are only available used.

That difference in your rear axle is actually causing your vehicle to try to turn to the longer direction because it introduces twist in the axle. The wheels on the drag cars are still parallel to the direction of travel. Think about a motorcycle with a side car as an extreme example of this. They still inherently

The noise is caused by the cut of the gear, straight cut being noisy and helical being quiet, not by the synchro. You won’t find a synchro on reverse gears because you don’t shift between gears in reverse.

Lived in ABQ for 30ish years. Come to DFW, you will reassess your opinion.

It is a thing on the Chrysler 300C as well.

I’m guessing you have issues with guns and the NRA.

From a repair/maintenance standpoint a OTS solution makes less sense. The transit connect you buy today isn’t going to use all the same parts as the one you buy in 5 years. USPS isn’t buying 180,000 trucks all at once, it’s going to be spread out over ~10 years.

Good catch! Looks like they went back to standard Hemi with the C for 2018.

I believe the 300C no longer guarantees a Hemi, the V6 is available in that configuration as well. I know you can get the 300S with the Hemi as I’ve had a couple of rentals optioned that way.

If you go the junkyard route, look for motor homes or large commercial vehicles. Lots of them came with or had installed big tranny coolers.

Not really rare. There were something over 30k C6 Z06’s built.

No such thing as a notchback C6. They are all the same, either fastback coupe or convertible. The C5 generation had what were called fixed roof coupes, which didn’t have the glass rear hatch.

They are just not going to display the items on the menu. You can still ask for the happymeal with a cheesburger.

You can get the same result with a Gear Vendors unit. It is mounted to the transmission rather than the rear diff. Still a 2 speed planetary gearbox.

Looks to me like the front bumper has some fitment issues. Seems to be intruding on the passenger wheel well.

Ah, how far we have come that 257 HP in a vehicle associated with suburban moms “doesn’t sound all that powerful”.

You can get the Wemo Mini for just $4 more.

My father used to gripe about power windows and door locks being “Just something else to break”. The tech on new vehicles is amazing but I’m starting to feel like he did. That is a bunch of stuff to have to fix in 10 years.

I seem to remember reading that the 2011 Crown Vic was available with a cassette deck and that either it or the Lexus SC430 was the last.
