How is it that a car is shipped without a part that was upgraded after the car shipped? I can see replacing a part that was upgraded after the car shipped, but if the car shipped without something being installed in the first place it just doesn’t make sense.

Yeah, the only thing sporty about them is the look. They do ride better and are much quieter than their Prius brothers.

Lexus CT 200h. Particularly in F-Sport trim.

It’s life imitating art. This exactly the plot of Gung Ho.

This was a huge thing when I was in high school in the mid 80’s. My favorite was always the ones that spin.

There are still some 4cyl that require periodic checks and adjustments but I dont know of any 6 or 8's that do not run hydraulic lash adjusters of some sort. Even the high revving stuff, LS7, Coyote, are not solid.

Very few modern engines have adjustable valve trains. Most use hydraulic lifters and are not adjustable. But good info for those outliers.

Some folks feel the rear fender looks ungainly and hack it off.

The big issue I see is that this would require the refit of every facility where these would be parked. Installing potentially dozens (hundreds?) of charging stations at each post office will be an enormous undertaking and will potentially require infrastructure upgrades as well. Had to be towed for the test, just like real life.

I would love to see the back and forth with the insurance company on this claim.

I still have my TI-89, TI-92, and HP-49G. I never did use the HP much. RPN was baffling.

Firehouse > Jimmy Johns >Subway > Jersey Mikes

I guess I just will never think the rotaries sound like anything other than the little .049 model airplane engines.

Something else worth mentioning for the big touring bikes at least. Highway pegs. Get your legs away from the hot engine and into the airstream. This also helps with getting air moving up your pants legs.

My first car was a ‘63 Monza Spyder convertible. Mine was the 180 horse version. $2500 for this one, even not running, is very much nice price even if a little swayed by nostalgia.

You might want to have your car checked out if it is knocking on regular unleaded. Your owners manual calls for 87 minimum so you should be good running that all day every day.
