That’s what I was thinking. I guess the gray area is they lumped entire teams and types I.e. mutants but didn’t specify specific lesser characters such as Beast. So I’m not sure if they would try to work around it. There is precedence with quicksilver and Scarlett witch although that existed far before the deals.

Evidently the new Marvel contracts have some kind of clause that is interchangable between both TV and film work for the characters they are portraying. This was one of the main reasons they are recasting Spiderman.
