it’s almost like she’s a individual, with her own thoughts, feelings, and beliefs.  If only she didn’t stay true to herself, then she’d be so popular.

She’s given hundreds of millions of pounds to charity.

For God’s sake, Sam, can we cut this nonsense out? The “backlash” to the new Disney ride consisted entirely of one editorial on SFGate before Fox News picked it up and ran with their brand new culture war football. There is no need to play their game. I don’t care what two people on some editorial webpage have to say:

Pete Davidson looks like a corpse that escaped the morgue halfway through embalming.

Now that deconstructing Superman is so prevalent that they made actual Superman into the deconstructed version of Superman, can we please have regular Superman back to deconstruct the repetitive, creatively bankrupt deconstructions of Superman?

I knew the critics would have their knives out when I read one review this morning that actually complained of the nerve of Netflix not releasing *any* screener episodes, forcing the poor guy to have to get up early and watch all 8 episodes before his (terrible) review. I know Netflix has done that before, but it

As you mention, this won’t solve climate change problems but I think it could really help. We know oil demand will drop and plastic demand will rise. We also know that EVs are going to start a trend of gas vehicles being phased out (hopefully) and that tons of this plastic already exists.

First off, that wouldn’t work.

Hopefully the the class options for Ranger are more or less the same as they were in the Unearthed Arcana.  They were just better in all respects.

Is it that obvious I haven’t moved on.

Goddamn artists insisting on being compensated for their work. Someone should really put them in their place.

The Star Trek trailers are all well and good, but really as I see it, this is the show for our time - breaking new ground in the genre to bring a mirror up to our world.

I gave you a star AND I enjoyed Suicide Squad.

He was criminally underused in Thor 2, even by Marvel villain standards.

Jesse Eisenberg: “Hey guys, what’s going on?”

Here’s a hot take: Big Bang theory isn’t that bad.  It’s not good, but it’s not any worse than any other generic sitcom.  It feels like someone somewhere decided it was “bad” and everybody else just piles on because they want to be cool too.

Remember when this website defended the individual’s right to like what they like, even when others said they were poo?

I’m sure he, and the $250M deal he just signed, is really disappointed to learn you feel that way.

As did I and my gay friend who I went to see it with. I really like this site, but I guess io9's at a point where they have to hyper analyze how someone out there, somewhere, could do much better than the person/people creating the thing in discussion.

My boyfriend and I came away thinking the movie had done just what Bill Hader is talking about. I guess it could be lost on some people, but for me Richie's story was of a pair with the homophobic shithead attack at the beginning of the film. That, and him crying when Eddie died, I liked how it was handled.
