Im honestly surprised they made it through an article without exposing private details of someones life and then shaming them for it.

No, but god forbid a former Gawker property miss a chance to let you know how socially aware they are.
...Was that last paragraph really needed?
Ah, Jim Lee in the same sentence as Rob Liefeld, where he belongs
She did fine in... were we watching the same movie? She did horribly in Valerian, a wooden performance from both the mains who seemed more like bro/sis than love interests. It was so hard to watch, especially since I was extremely hopeful for the movie.
We just (like, just within the past five minutes) finished Good Omens and it was a damn delight. That being said, yeah there's not a ton of original content they have that I am interested in.
People might fool around a BIT, but eventually they’d try to do good things with it because superhero media has been drilled into our collective consciousness for years, along with the idea that with great power comes great responsibility. They wouldn’t just be goofing off.
You have far too much faith in humanity chum. The average fella given powers would have about a week before he started crossing serious ethical lines, and in a short period you’d have a full monster on your hands.
I stopped reading this book a while back, but agree with this fully. What a move on Kirkman’s part. In a day and age when everything is spoiled, this is actually a great move.

For fucks sake, does everyone parroting this talking point forget that the whole point of the film is that Wakanda was wrong for having an extreme isolationist bent?
I was a submariner (specifically a Torpedoman) for 24 years, I’ve already arranged to be shot out of a torpedo tube at test depth off of Hawaii.
“Take it from me.”
I wanted to like it. I barely made it through the first season though. I could not finish the first episode of season two. The main character just keeps doing unbelievably stupid things, instead of the obvious easy thing.
You know, you made me double check what I wrote. I, in fact, did not say “good” anywhere in my post. “Trashy fun” is all I wanted.
But! Must! They! Talk! Like! This! All! The! Time?!
Sorry man , some random jrpg character isnt obvious at all...
“Shouldn’t the player be rewarded in some way for destroying the town’s entire zombie population?”
