People should watch ALMS. It has everything that a gear head could want, great tracks, traffic, passing, endurance, etc. If you like crazy prototype racecars ALMS has it. If you want to see manufacturers battle it out with their production cars ALMS has it.

It is good to see justice meted out to those aiding the Chinese car companies make cheap imitations/ripoffs. I will never buy a Chinese car.

I've driven on that road a couple times, and on California roads in general, and I agree it is a bit of a free-for-all. That doesn't make it right however.

The difference between a school bus and an SUV (other than size) is that the mirrors on a school bus actually do show the area around the bus, whereas an SUV (and even some cars) sometimes just barely give you the full field of view.
