While a good ol' pickup is a solid choice, any of the conversion vans from the '90s work incredibly well. They can bring more people to the game than a pickup, still carry a grill/supplies, and have room for a big tent (if needed).

I'm in Philly now, but my family back home says the river rose 6 feet, hundreds of streets are closed, cars are stalled all over the streets, and the rain is still pouring. Anybody else here from Chicago? Our "parking meters" are privatized. They are expensive credit-card operated machines that print a receipt which you have to display in your windshield. Worst part: the city makes no revenue from the parking fees.
