Gee, I wonder if they're going to give away their Blackberry Enterprise Server for free too. Frankly, it was so expensive to run your own server and add licenses, then phones, then data plans, that I'm SO glad they are dying. Good riddance.
Although there were aspects of Prometheus that disappointed me, I thought overall it was pretty good. I thought the alien scene at the very end was tacked on, and they left a few concepts hanging out there.
As far as the Spiderman reboot is concerned, I feel your argument is invalid. ;-)
NO. Do NOT buy these. Look at the IOPS on the v4 drives - 4K and 10K? No way! Do not want.
There doesn't seem to be an option to go back and edit an alias after you create it. Guys?
How about something as simple as going back to the mid-1990's and teaching all those .COM kids how to write a business plan? Think of all the money we could have saved (as well as avoiding the tech crash) if all the VCs had flushed out the truly bizarre ideas early?
Not necessarily a bad idea. Instead of getting into the "biggest display" race, they have taken a different direction. If you think about it, a 16:9 display makes some sense: you can watch a movie full screen without bars, and the size of the actual movie would be similar to a Samsung Galaxy S III display with bars…
Certainly hope it was worth it!
I'm so glad you said that. Who in their right mind...

I don't see Trogdor anywhere.
I bought a 32GB iPad 3 specifically because the "Retina-enabled" apps take up more space, and I'm a app hoarder. I just had to obliterate all the music and photos off my girlfriend's 16GB iPad just so I could load up hers with the first season of Lost for an international trip she's about to go on.
If Apple's iPad 2 were $299, and the New iPad started at $399, and both were under a pound, then we wouldn't be having this discussion. But the previous commenters are correct - the iPad is too heavy to read with, and the $499 price point is too rich for most who just want to do a handful of things on it (me, I use…
On a more "open thread" note, can anyone recommend the best source for a video-based iOS programming tutorial? I've seen the one by udemy.com, but I'm leaning more towards the "free" option. I'm sure there are a few players out there, but what's the best option for a guy who hasn't coded in C at all? Thanks very…
