For those of you who don't read Gawker, John Cook had an excellent piece today on the anti-abortion so-called sting at Planned Parenthood.

Adding my voice to the others: Adrian, it's scummy, sleazy behavior on your part to name a rape victim or alleged rape victim.

@Number 6: Which brings this back to terrorist rapist.

@Rozelle’s Bagman: Larger size does not require filth and vermin. Hardly a relevant statement.

@Smuggington: Internet mocking is the least of her worries.

@New to NYC: I understand that the comparison isn't apples-to-apples. But the example is still illustrative of the inappropriate usage.

@fuzzylemon: You do realize that the Jewish Coffee Talk women spoke in stereotypical New York accents, don't you?

@New to NYC: Tell that to the United Negro College Fund.

@fuzzylemon: Why would you even want to defend this phrasing? Would you defend "thick Negro accent"? Think.

@SNEAKERS: There is a huge difference — education, duties, pay, respect/prestige.

@la.donna.pietra: That's especially weird because the same thing happened to Vincent Van Gogh.

@Neato Burrito: You're absolutely right — They aren't holding themselves to the same standards. And they should. But they don't have to (getting back to amuse-bouche's point).

@amuse-bouche: But ... it really doesn't. The owners and editors can do what they want regardless of what the commenters demand.

@magnets: !!! = appreciation, at least in this case.

@littleada: The Mayo Clinic website considers it one form of FSD. For what that's worth.

@intangiblemango: I love this response. And so does my inability to orgasm despite decades of effort.
