Thanks David, I appreciate the obligatory complement for a new Jalop!

Thanks! I’m not going to get too into it but here’s the short-of-the-long. My dad bought this truck in about 1989-1990ish for $500. He spent the next four years restoring it, the only thing that didn’t come off of the frame was the cab. I remember being about 13 (I turn 40 this month) and helping him put the pistons

Who says I have to sell my own organs?

Thanks. A mother-in-law. Not flexible. So probably too tight. Plus, I actually really like her and want her to be comfy.

What he said.

My E90 M3 fits a rear facing seat with the base behind the driver seat just barely. At 5'10", I have to move up to more racing seat position to accommodate the baby carrier. The F30/80 is substantially larger in the rear cabin area, so I’d wager that the rear facing seat will fit as long as you or your wife are

Hi Matt. Thanks for writing, and great timing! I am (regretfully) getting rid of e39 M5 and looking for a replacement. I have two young kids. Will the 340 have room for two child seats and have room in the middle? Or is it too small? Thanks - Max

With the car seat on either of the side car there’s enough room for an average sized adult in the front to sit back and recline to a comfortable point.

I took a class in college on coaching track and field (I know) and we had to do all the field events. I remember that javelin was very technical. The run up and hip turn and motion felt very unnatural. Fun though.

Good explanation, I was wondering what happened!

I ran decathlon in college, and jav is one of the events. The throwing motion is similar to a outfielders throwing motion, but mixed a little bit with throwing a football. It puts a ton of strain on your elbow, and decathletes/heptathletes (like this girl) have other events to worry about; multi-eventers don’t

It’s okay, I forgive her.

YOU KNOW I DO

To buy a Jalopnik edition vehicle, I'd expect a full on emblem not a sticker.

Make it happen, Liz.

If someone buys this car I will personally send them a bunch of Jalopnik stickers.

If I buy a Jalopnik-edition BMW, it by-God better come with a Jalopnik sticker.

It's actually 3,295 lbs, which is far far from 4,000 lbs and actually makes it closer in weight to a BRZ.

Zee Sport Pack and Zee Manual Transmission. I can't see those letters standing for anything else.

@spiegel1: I'm guessing that your sneezes have slightly less mass than your average Bimmer.
