Hello! To clarify: I was not being snarky—quite the opposite.

It reminds me of that moment in game change where MCCain has lost and is about to give his concession speech and Palin wants to give one of her her own so Steve Schmidtt has to tell her point blank that she will not steal the first blakc preosden’t spotlight.

Not to mention the nerve to demand that people who fought to have the right to vote be the ones to now court their vote or else.

Women and minorities have been dutifully pulling the lever for white men for decades (when they were allowed to at all) and you never heard from them even a fraction of the hysterics that Sanders supporters have been displaying during the DNC because they didn’t get their #1 choice.

This is my grandmother’s story as well! She’ll be 102 by Election Day and she’s still as sharp as ever (and liberal as ever) and she can’t wait to vote for the first woman president ever. So proud of her :)

Honestly, having seen the way you guys respond with calmness/snark to people attacking you for things you write at Jezebel, the fact that Smith took to Twitter claiming that ou was being “intimidated” by that email is just frankly depressing.

“You can’t stop the signal” is the most insufferable and self important cool girl response to defending your own stupidity that I’ve seen in a long time.

Funny how some self-professed progressives are going to “protest” the corrupt DNC by allowing their fellow women/minority citizens to experience the biggest setback to their constitutional rights in decades, if not centuries.

No discernible progressive opinions? Other than pushing for healthcare reform, protection of a woman’s right to choose, equal pay, paid parental leave, universal pre-K education, gun control, opposing Citizens United, raising the minimum wage, and advocating for clean energy...

Being a progressive means you hate Hillary? That’s news to me. I thought being progressive means fighting for progressive issues, not creating a purity test of which of those issues are necessary to be considered progressive.

Jill stein is an anti-Vaxxer who takes money from snake oil salesmen who market magic water to desperate people.

Disagree, he needs to actively disavow his “supporters,” shame them if necessary, and campaign like hell for Hillary/Kaine. he doesn’t get to walk away from the crapstorm he birthed.

I’m 26, straight, white, male, college-educated and liberal, and I’m terrified of Trump getting elected. I know full well that I’m privileged, but that sure as fuck won’t prevent me from losing my job when Hypothetical President Trump drives the US economy into the ground. And that absolutely is a when, not an if.

Bernie: “This is the real world that we live in.”

And there it is. It is no longer about Sanders, if it ever was. It's just about your precious unsustainable imaginary future and not the hard god damn work it's going to take to get there. Privilege plain and simple, what will it hurt if Trump gets elected? They won't feel any pain from his insanity.

As a Clinton supporter I say good riddance DWS, don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. You failed at your job: both in getting down ticket candidates elected and apparently in being unbiased during the primary process. We need to unify as a party, enough of this nonsense.

Good. I don’t like her. This mess adds fuel to the fire, and we don’t need that.

It’s because he’s still alive. Once Manson dies, they’ll all be paroled. He exerted such a powerful influence over certain members for such a long time and it was such a violent crime, they don’t want to risk it.

She plagiarized Michelle Obama and rickrolled the RNC. I’m convinced that her speech writer is a 100% Grade A Troll. And I love them.
