"Android=Free to pirate anything without rooting your phone, you can install any paid application for freeover the web browser"

Obviously *you* don't since they aren't. Android is an open source operating system meaning that the full source for *basic* android is available. That does not mean that every use of Android, drivers, application, etc is open source.

I also left out any other form of PC gaming ever. I made a direct comparison between one of the absolute best selling consoles and one of the absolute best PC gaming services.

I am. Are you?

It kinda won't be? Any of those pirated apps can be installed on Ouya. The bigger issue will be with pirating apps that are released on Ouya itself(which is really all anyone can really care about w/ regards to it), which all will require checking in with Ouya's servers on install(according to statements in todays Q&A)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steam_(software)

I also conveniently left out other PC game services. It's called an apples to apples comparison.

"Except that the Ouya devs promise no DRM"

Sarcasm. Learn it.

"PC gaming minority"

"Plus, this console is designed to be hacked.. so I hope he doesn't expect people to like, pay for his game or anything."

I'm not sure that you understand exactly how much work it takes to make a game. If you aren't treating it like a full time job, it takes *years* to get anything more than a demo(for reference, I've been working regularly on my own independent game on the side of my full time job for about 1.5 years. I'm *almost* ready

"Notch had a plan to do advanced graphics sometime in the future."

"I'm Too Lazy And Rich To Do Proper Graphics"

I think the fact that OnLive, itself, can run on Ouya *kinda* implies that something similar to OnLive can run on Ouya...

So, as a game developer, your statements about pushing the Tegra 3 extra far because you don't have to deal with things like battery intrigued me.

"Probably my favorite Ghibli film."

I honestly had no idea there was such a thing as "geek rap" until I saw this article. Huh.

Well, he did get his money back, so the "paid to be there" is at least a bit weaker.

It is, but you should realize that, no matter what, you're still asking people to buy new hardware. *Some* tv's will have google tv built in, but those require people to buy a new TV(and thus far, these TV's come at a HUGE premium over similar ones without google TV built in).
