We had a 2003 and currently have a 2010 with just about 160k, this is a NP for this moment in time.  Seller should have done a better job of cleaning but if mechanics check out its not a bad deal.  Our 2003 was a manual while the 2010 is an auto (5 speed vs 4 speed in earlier years).  I think the auto fits the vehicle

How the F did you find one for 2200?

Why is The Replacements on neither list.  Also, I probably haven’t seen Necessary Roughness in maybe 20 years but I used to think it was great.

I had that grille too, but I didn’t even know about it until after I got it home.  I think the biggest problem with lighted grills and emblems is unless you view them from straight on they just don’t look quite right.

That makes sense. Here in Oklahoma we have a lot of turnpikes as well yet we still tend to call non-toll roads highways and not freeways.

Some of those are still odd, or maybe it’s regional.  I call a lock a lock, and while I’ve heard them called Freeways, it is rare, we call them Highways!

In Russian accent: “Heavy is good, heavy is reliable.”

Hey, my hometown! When I was a kid it was called Big Red Sports and Imports and was a Ferrari dealer.

My dad had a Zephyr and a Reliant...both caught on fire.  The Zephyr while he was driving on the Interstate and the Reliant after he parked and walked into work.  I don’t know if that says much about the cars or his ability to keep a car maintained though.

I like this color on the Veloster N’s that I have seen but it just isn’t working on the Elantra for some reason, not for me anyway.

Wow, 1978 was not a good year, although the BMW M1 and the Countach 400S did debut. I’ve always like 928s but would prefer a later one. So I would go with a BMW 635 CSi.

The cat is right there in the middle and easily accessible.  And they are just tall enough to make them easy to get to without jacking it up.

Honda Element’s are popular too because they are easy to access and fairly valuable.  I believe they can scrap them for like $800-1000.  And it is expensive to get an OEM replacement.  Multiple people make guards for Elements and other commonly hit vehicles.  I think Prius’s (Pri-i?) are popular too.

I agree.  It works better on the yacht then on the car.

Not entirely.  To alot of people, and I would assume most Jalopnik reader they are highly engineered rolling works of art.  We understand that these vehicles often use high tech materials and processes and therefore are expensive and also expensive to repair.  Yes, there are some owners that just want to flaunt their

I’m not arguing that the prices aren’t crazy.  I’m saying that this was a $400k+ supercar built by Mercedes and McLaren, nothing will ever by cheap for it.  I guess by normal car standards it is awful, but to people that purchase cars this expensive it just comes with the territory.  Watch some of Manny Khoshbin’s

It is awful? We’re being a little overly edgy aren’t we? It is not surprising that an expensive super car has expensive maintenance. And I’m not sure you even finished the video. Ed definitely is not having all of that work done, just the safety related items.

Pre-law, but what’s the difference?

I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody’s part!
