@Cats: How is people wanting to play with a new device vs look at bland laptops 'brand-itis?'

@Lnin0: On Verizon the answer is because they say we have to or else. CMDA is very, very easy to control because, unlike GSM, they are the gate keeper and there is no way around that. There is no SIM card, in order to use your phone they have to turn it on for you. And when Verizon's service is (Or at least the

After using an Android phone, hell no.

@Jared Greenwald: more than likely Pats will mean Boston. Giving Foxboro 4g is serving barely anyone 6 days out of the week.

I just flew through the android beta, they have my money when the full version gets released.

@RobotVampire: Don't kid yourself now, of course they will. I love their network but their insistence on control over the products is disgusting. I'm just thankful that Motorola seemed to hold firm on certain points. Even with the Motoblur and pre-installed Verizon bloat it doesn't fundamentally change the experience

@cbytes: I do now. MAH BAD. My confidence in my reading comprehension just jumped off a cliff. Deleting original message.

@Jimmy1: DISREGARD THIS, I AM TARDED.

I didn't even realize they did that and I was using iTunes 10 for a while last night. Fail on my part.

@MajesticLuuk: I can definitely see not wanting to hold it to your face but a bluetooth headset would allow you to use it in a pinch at the very least. I definitely question why they did it but in a very, very small niche I can see people using it with headsets.

That's all well and good until you consider that alot of customers that buy iPods are younger and even if they do have a cellphone it more than likely isn't a smartphone. Until data plans either don't add 30% more to your bill or are just an accepted part of every plan iPods will always have a market in the 16 and

@MajesticLuuk: For the most part, yes. They had rumors going for years, people wanted to size up the competition spec and price wise before they knew how to market their product.

@espinha: I think in many ways giving gender to objects to which you show affection is a side effect of the Latin that mixed with Germanic languages to create English. Even if we don't actively assign gender through speech there are still gender distinctions we make about objects.

I know in the comments of your SSD article someone suggested how to solve the sleep issue but it probably wouldn't hurt to state it again; When you go to install an SSD as a second drive be sure to put the SSD in the main bay and put your physical harddrive in the place of the DVD drive. Otherwise you'll have issues

Resistive? Why build me up just to dash me down? =(

@Aduntu: If it said banging his girlfriend it would not have also included a snippet about HIV and the words 'fag hag' written therein, now would it? Yeah, didn't think so.

@iPolak: I think I understand your intent now after rereading it. As RStormgull says THESE ARE NOT THE DROIDS I'M LOOKING FOR.

Why should I care if he was having sex with a man, woman or goat? Way to go Gawker, sensationalizing someone's sexual orientation for some shock clicks. Disgusting.

@iPolak: Changing definitions is not a way to win an argument good sir, may I suggest some humility?
