Hey, that's my imaginary virtual surrogate adopted daughter you're talking about! Choose your next image macro carefully, all I'm sayin...

Didn't they use this song for the Dead Space 3 ads for some reason?

As you may have guessed, I've been ManhackMan ever since Half-Life 2 Deathmatch. It started out specific to that game, but I like the symmetry of it and use it wherever else I can.

It's too good of a play on words not to use.

Given that Aliens practically spawned the entire FPS Space Marine Shoots Waves of Monsters genre, it would be really cool to play a game based on the original Alien film's one monster dynamic.

I have noticed a big spike in streetpasses since they implemented it. And I don't spend much time sitting around in places with hotspots, so it seems to work just by walking by.

You may pass by more 3DS owners than you think. But even if not, Nintendo recently updated their wifi hotspots (any public AT&T hotspot, like at a McDonalds or Starbucks) to grab StreetPass data from anyone walking by and then hand out the six most recent Miis to new passersby. It makes StreetPassing vastly easier in

Thanks so much for giving this such a thorough analysis. I was a day 1 3DS adopter, and even then I was really impressed with the various behavioral feedback loops built into the system. Unlike a lot of social games, though, these loops didn't feel predatory. They really feel like Nintendo is showing me the way to

The Aqua Blue 3DS is still cool, right guys?

Please don't cancel the Wii U version please don't cancel the Wii U version please don't cancel the Wii U version...

Damn, that was pretty good. He's definitely doing a Mark Hamill Joker, but I'd love to see him stick with the role for a few games/animated movies to make it his own a little more.

It's the kind of excitement they feel in Lorule.

Lorule is one of those ideas that's so perfect I can't believe it hasn't happened already.

I think when Iwata says Nintendo isn't good at directly competing, he means it. PS4/XB1-level specs aren't cheap or immediately profitable, and Nintendo can't leverage a global electronics and computing empire to make that kind of investment. Plus, they would be playing catch-up as far as network infrastructure, 3rd

I haven't played one of these since AC II, and my Wii U needs something to do once I beat Wind Waker, so I'm actually looking forward to AC IV. Lot of sailing for me this fall, it looks like.

I haven't played Brothers. I'm sure it's great. But I can't help but feel like the title is too vague. They should have gone with:

That would be amazing. I could totally see Valve doing this as part of a Red Cross benefit or something.

Between SM3DW, Zelda ALBW, Pokemon X/Y, and Mario Kart 8 early next year, I had basically written off non-Nintendo gaming until pretty far into 2014. But now I'm like "Oh yeah, Watch Dogs! Wait, it's on Wii U, Nintendo streak unbroken!"

Gotta hand it to Cartoon Network. "Sonic Boom" is one of those titles that I can't believe Sega hasn't used yet.
