I don't like Ocarina of Time or Half-Life 2 because I don't find them all that fun. That doesn't negate the point that they're games that deserve love from the people that appreciate them for what they did.

Pretty much what I was going to say. I've never thought of EarthBound as being a game that everyone will like because that's just how games and people are. We all have differing opinions and games simply cannot appeal to every type of person. My opinion is that EarthBound is a wonderfully unique, wacky, well-written

I think it looks like a more fun arcade-ish style alternative to DayZ if you want a good zombie apocalypse game. DayZ is going for realism and a player's sandbox, but this looks more like a video game that you can just have fun with, while still feeling like you're surviving the zombie apocalypse.

Technically, you can play with the demo version of Arma 2 on Steam. DayZ mostly requires the Operation Arrowhead expansion.
