I have never been all that into Star Wars, I don't dislike it, but I just don't see it as this shining magical thing others do. So the new movies are on my radar, sure, but only so much any genre film is on my radar.

As much as I like this setting, the formula is getting pretty stale. Apart from Black Flag it has been pretty boring since AC 3.

You could do the lo-fi and "realistic" take on some characters if you wanted (Punisher comes to mind) and it was kinda in vogue for a while in the beginning of the super hero movie boom. Remember the first X-Man movie: "yellow spandex? ha ha ha!"

Yeah I like both DC and Marvel, I just like Marvel a bit more. I just get defensive because my friends are such staunch fans of DC and will not even entertain the thought that Marvel could have something of value :-/
