and slander

Maybe this will not revolutionize the game industry, as you pointed out in the article, but maybe we will be seeing a new tier or type of games, something that is somewhere between Indie and corporate. I could see some big name developers starting their own small side projects with similar funding models.

Man I need to finish Storm of Swords, I think I had a sort of fantasy overload and am just completely stuck in the first part of it. It is not that I find the book boring or bad, I just really miss my spaceships, nanotech and inscrutable aliens. Maybe I should read the first part of the Foundation Trilogy I got for

This is why stuff like SOPA and ACTA is made, the big companies feel threatened and are starting to see that the current puplishing model is becomming oboslete. And therefore they wanna try to control the internet, instead of updating their buisness model.

I think Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is a really good example when it comes DLC. It had some of the very worst kinds of DLC and some of the best kinds.

I liked the porn soundtrack for this interview :-D

Ah yes, found that out now too, still it is neat cheat to overcome some of the limitations of "found footage" films

I like this, we need to rethink how the subscription works for these games. While free to play is a neat concept it is also (in most cases) kind of a lie, it is more like: "free unless you dont want it to suck". Look at city of heroes, the free version has practially no features, not even the ability to use the puplic

Ah the camera guy can turn invisible. That is a neat excuse to get him into the action but not having him adressed by other characters

Even with the dropping subscribers (at least in the west) WoW will still be able to turn a profit even if it had only 1 million subscribers. WoW will be around for a long time yet, just with a lot less players. There are still people playing Asherons Call 1 and Everquest 1, and i believe they are even still being

So what are you saying, there is no way to stop the game companies from butt-*ucking us, so we should just roll over and buy hardware that has the lube factory installed?

No, bad scientist. Creativity, just means skynet will have more ways to DESTROY ALL HUMANS.

And the lesson here is, never ever use the forums for any EA game.

"Observing", that is to see and be aware of everything in your surroundings, is it not similar to ADHD. As far as I know humans have evolved to not take everything in as that would overload our brains. Which is why we have fun things like change-blindness: [www.youtube.com]

This is stupid and childish. And absolutely brilliant :-D

Too bad it got boring after i hit 50 with my first character, once I ran out of quests and by extension stories and conversation, the game just lost its appeal to me. So yeah I have cancelled, but I may return to complete Bounty Hunters storyline, at some point.

Very nice, I actually still have the game on cd-rom, but have never bothered of going through the hoops to make it work on my Win 7pc

"Outright Hinduism" the scandal!

Actually a Fallout game set in London would be really cool and could give a nice spin to the traditional Fallout feel.

Bah, looks like I have to go back to my plan of buying the game, but still use a pirated version until when/if they work something out with Valve.
