Volvo is already owned by the Chinese and making US-market Volvos there. This is the next step after that.

So Supra, HiAce, HiLux, Corolla, Camry, and Land Cruiser?
Perhaps not AWD but they’ve already engineered those cars for other markets, and the platform already supports AWD (See Escape/Equinox).
I parked next to one at work today. I genuinely forgot they existed because, until now, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one on the roads. I live in Munich.
And now the London taxi is on a hybrid Volvo platform with a very similar layout.
It’s the Tarraco and the Ateca, though the orange thing looks more like a VW T-Roc (which China already has). Could be a facelift of the Ateca or even the smaller Arona.
To be fair, the stripper model of this version is $60k less than a Stormy.
No, a Waaaagon.
I am not commenting from a position of knowledge but... if pimping your 12 year old kid seems like a good option at all, you’re probably not doing it to cover her future Harvard tuition. So I guess I have faith that the cops probably know what the market price is, unfortunately.
And a Ranger-sized Renault Alaskan pickup truck in RWD.
It’s only got an inch on the Altima in length and width. I’m glad it exists - it’s a much nicer car - I’m just not sure why both that and the Altima V6 need all the development time.
Voted NP at $23k, but then saw it’s really $29k and slower than a Maxima. CP.
Can’t believe how much it looks like a Buick Encore from above
Yes, but there’s a reason why you didn’t show the outside of the Alphard.
Don’t forget that the regular-spec Premium AWD model that you can get from Hertz also features the 260 HP four. I also had one for a week - I liked it, but didn’t love it. Plenty of power, decent handling, but not as sweet as a Mazda6. On the other hand, 2016, AWD, 260hp, leather, sub $19k is a sweet deal for an…
Never thought I’d see the words “Chartreuse” and “Microbus” together without mentioning “11 long-haired friends of Jesus”.
Why isn’t the Superb the new Passat? It makes even less sense to have VW USA as a decontented VW brand, when people complain about them being too small, while Skoda offers better quality, larger VW products at a lower cost - apart from the powertrains, exactly what the US market wanted. So just rebadge Skodas as VWs…
Cruisers aren’t given on rank. This car would be crewed by a pair of PCs (regular officers), at most a sergeant, and not assigned to anyone in particular. It would be used for “traffic” (basically highway patrol) though, rather than neighbourhood policing.
Rust free Trabi - worth pointing out that they’re plastic? Or is that the joke?
Here’s an ‘81 for sale for $27k.
