Bro. A good symetra can be a lot more useful than a good character in any other role. She can attack with secondary fire aiming at the enemy spawn or a choke and get damage reliably for her ult, and once she sets it up, her team is suddenly at a huge advantage. Plus, I once did a team wipe using only her primary fire

That may be a judgement better made after actual trailers and not 5 second teasers.

Motoko’s cybernetic body isn’t Asian, it’s never been Asian.

Game development isn’t as simple as that. Throwing more money (people) at a project won’t always fix all of its problems. If a game’s features aren’t fun, what it usually needs is more time and iteration, not more people. And sometimes even an infinite amount of time doesn’t seem to help (see: The Last Guardian).

Ok. Sure.

Agreed. I interpret this to mean, “We haven’t made a policy that you can’t charge for that patch.” In fairness, there’s probably been nothing up to this point preventing developers from charging for “HD textures” if they’d thought to do it.

This is just covering their ass I believe, because you know that devs are going to want to charge for the fancy upgrade.

This gal c*ddles...

He’s trying to collect all the Chaos Emeril.

It was a good year to be born. We clearly had the best kids TV and weren’t spoiled by it being *everywhere*. Do kids these days even know how important Saturday Mornings (tm) are?

Crazy emojis? o.O

People would just google where to find it anyway. This does the same thing but keeps them immersed and in game.

“Their number one priority should be bug fixes. After they come, then they should add new features.”

I don’t understand why people say this. Blizzard is a massive company with a large pool of resources. They can work on bug fixes and new features, and new maps, and new characters all at the same time. Whenever there’s

David Cage is like if Hideo Kojima had zero sense of humor and had his pretentiousness dialed up 200%.

There was also the more low key, but fantastic, PC gaming conference, which, IMHO featured some of the best games (and with a lot less marketing buzzwords too! no uncompressed HDR pixel talk here!):

Thanks to everyone who keeps reading and supporting Kotaku. We love you all.

Wow, it's one of those people already. You want the game to be free to play for the next eight years and only have expansions as good as the April update? Bungie never said anything of the sort.

This is good stuff! I usually play as Lucio. His attack is not LOS but it’s fun to spam to keep the opponents’ heads down.
