Coincidentally while I was working at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry we were informed of a study showing that people are 30 times more likely to remember AND TELL others about a negative experience than a good one. I thank you for being that 1/30 people who acknowledge the fact that many people are nice but

Could we please stop using the word "homophobia" to describe bigotry towards LGBT folk? These people aren't necessarily phobic, most of the time they're just assholes. It's bigotry based on hatred, not fear. The misuse of the term isn't going to end until people make an effort to stop using it incorrectly.

I was pretty fortunate when I joined League: I knew nothing about the community, but started out with really kind people. I told them I was new and they guided me through the game (which we ended up winning).

I don't consider faggot a term against homosexuals, I've repurposed it for my own use as it began to evolve into. I've dropped gay, but I'm keeping faggot. It's a wonderfully foul sounding word with beauty in it as well. So fuck yourself faggot.

I'm crying from laughter.

True. Instead of wasting a day playing games, I'll read more about the Malaysian airplane shot down over the Ukraine.

They'll just be mash-ups of two random words. Battleborn, Battlecry, Bloodborne, Killzone, Driveclub...

Ah, the old argument that the writer is writing what they write because they're just trying to get clicks. Yeah, a succinct, non-histrionic headline and a bunch of reporting mixed in with argument sure are the telltale signs of a writer who doesn't give a damn about what they're saying and is just cravenly farming

I'm "tired of it" because people have no business telling someone how to create their story. If you want more of a certain type of person, write your own story.

Hmm, give me a sec while I actually read the article...

I believe you're misinterpreting his comment. The article's title is also problematic. When Miyamoto meant "creative immaturity" he was referring to the ways "bloody shooter software" which are considered immature in various cultures. He added the "creative" bit

Are you saying the previous camera required more... calibrations?

"Gotta go fuck yourself!"

Yes, the act of collecting, vetting, and sharing information that helps expose uncomfortable truths is journalism at its finest, thanks.
