I guess this is what happens when we lose tyler.
Well, I am a Person of Color (Indian Colored, to be exact) and I agree with Colbert.
The right to vote includes the right to not vote.
Well, the first answer is unions. Police unions are some of the most powerful in the nation and as such, are going to rally behind their members regardless of the situation. I think there’s an honest debate about whether that’s a good thing or bad. Personally, I feel that sort of protection has to end once something…
The Minnesota Lynx warmed up for their game on Saturday in shirts supportive of the Black Lives Matter movement. The…
The important thing is that we can retain our self-esteem through our ignorance.
That’s just what someone in the pocket of Big Cat would say.
Umm, autopilot is an avation term that’s used in that industry in almost the exact same context as Tesla is using it. Look up the FAA regulations a pilot must be seated at the controls while the autopilot is engaged and must be prepared to take over the controls at all times incase the autopilot fails or disengages.…
To my deranged sensibilities, a car’s attractiveness starts at its period-correct audio equipment (if any) and spirals out from there.
You sir are absolutely correct in every point you’ve made.
the answer given assumes a uniform rate of acceleration of 4.29m/s^2. How was that derived? I mean, my bike does not work that way. It has a power curve and I know that the rate of acceleration varies depending on where I am in that curve. Also, it varies with environmental conditions like wind, temperature, and…
Really? Going to the authorities instead of kicking her mirrors off and assaulting her isn’t going to change the perception of bikers?
This is probably fairly close, but it assumes acceleration is constant. I don’t know what the acceleration curve is, but we can safely assume the acceleration is higher closer to t0. This means he would cross the bridge quicker, but hit 400 km/h further along the bridge (probably still before the 1 mile mark)
The problem is that a tremendous amount of a car’s environmental impact comes from its initial manufacturing. Scrapping thousands of new and slightly used cars is terribly wasteful. Manufacturing thousands of replacements would probably do more damage to the environment than driving the offending cars for years.
Thank you for your post. Really.
As much fun and freedom as riding may provide, it’s shit like this that keeps me off the pavement. Too much shit out of your control and the consequences are too high. If I ride, it’ll be on dirt or on the water (after properly securing my load on the boat trailer).
...or not have the thing loaded.
So a dead guy comes back to life once he lands in a city called Phoenix, but somehow Christianity deserves the credit? Bullshit.
