@Iniquities: I was wondering why my nipples suddenly became covered in white and black hair and had begun to take on the shape of tiny horses. This explains a lot, thanks for the tip, I guess I'm going to have to watch out for trees also, do you think the rabies spread to my Christmas tree or not!?

@Scubastevie00: Time to bust out the planet crackers and start tearing apart planets for their natural resources.

@sometingwong: You so win the entirey of the comments section.

That NeoGeo collection had to cost a damn fortune to obtain, much more than the other system/game collections, but holy shit is the whole thing impressive.

@XCosmicChaosx: By the sounds of her penchant for playing the game to the detriment of her own children they were probably flawless.

@Kakkoii: That thing is incredible!

@HJSoulma: I don't think all of the written word is art either, but that's my opinion.

@Zom-B: Both of us because your opinion matters to you as much as mine does to me. I'm not going to say that your wrong because your not. That's how you felt about the game, it's not how I felt about it, but that doesn't make us wrong or right. Call of Duty has no meaningful artistic value to me and that's something I

@DominusSapientia: Your closing and your body don't mesh since you say that you won't debate the merits of whether or not games can be art unless the opinion of the other person is somewhat knowledgeable in artistic value. Well, a persons view on what has artistic value is their own and not debating someone based on

@I'm leaving a: It seems I should have clarified a bit since this thread blew up and everyone seems to be focusing on the fact that I used Call of Duty as an example. The artists' that make the game are just that, and the way that the make a game is an art unto itself. I cannot create models are creature on that level

@HeartBurnKid: Agent of R.O.A.C.H.: I would, I don't know why anyone would say there is some form of artistic value to TF2, except maybe in the form of CG, so saying nobody would say that is a bit premature.

Across first party titles, PSN games, multi's, and Move games, this will be the best year of gaming for me since late 2008 thru late 2009. It's just going to be an incredible year for the PS3 in terms of games and they need to put the icing on the cake with a slew of PS2 remakes that I really want like a Final Fantasy

Well this news came at just the right time because I was about four days away from selling it. Since the games ending was a bit...ambiguous, maybe, I will have no problem with getting the DLC to see what's up and where the series may be headed.

Not all games are art. There is no meaningful or artistic value to games like Call of Duty. There are a lot of games that have stunning graphics and could almost qualify as art, but just fail to reach that level in which it could actually be called art.

@WhatTheFrag: I figure one or both will either be announced at CES next months or at GDC in March. I just hope that it really is almost a portable PS3 and as such can play PSN games that have been purchased. If they do that I will be locked and loaded for games at launch, but knowing Sony they might not make it that

This was awesome update and I'm about to start playing the demos of which there were a ton, the only thing that would have made this update even better, at least for me, is Tetris. Oh well, maybe with the next update, but I have plenty to keep me busy until then.

@DunnCarnage: Yeah, Activision is acting like corporations don't try to get talent to come over to the other side all the time. It's pretty public in this case so that may be why Kotick is throwing such a bitch fit about it, but really, suing EA because they were 'wooing' West and Zampella seems absurd.

@legendnthemaking: That would be too much awesome for SE, but if they made it happen I would be willing to forgive several of their mistakes this gen.

@dowingba: Now if only SE would get on the ball with HD releases of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts I would be extra happy. I would be so happy about a Kingdom Hearts collection (hopefully the Final Mix versions) that my need for KH3 would be sated, for a little while at least.

@undeadgoat: Syfy doesn't promote anything to anyone except for Ghost Hunters and WWE, which is their biggest problem. They either know it and don't care, or, they are so ambivalent to what their audience wants and expects to see they should hire someone new, someone that actually gives enough of a shit about the
