Ah, sorry, the wonky response system with the new site design. It only showed to my last comment, didn't realize everyone had already responded to you. Very good then.

Oh, if skype over 3g is enabled, then it's just your data that you're using up and skype itself is still free. I still prefer doing it from a wifi spot because it has better signal quality. But yeah you'll be fine. I think Whitson thought you meant regular cellphone to skype which would cost money. So you'll be good.

If you're using Skype on your phone, with wifi, and calling someone with Skype on their PC, it's free.

"Doctor Whooooo!" Umm, really? That was the clip they chose?

Actually, Fanboy is an inside joke from #whitenoise over on Gizmodo (back when anyone still cared). I sometimes forget that all Gawker isn't the same. I'll admit though, I now spell it like that habitually, so I'm not claiming I would have remembered anyway. But Touche.

Clearly you're a fanboy of some sort. This invalidates your comment in some vaguely explainable way.

lol. I love those stupid arguments over opinion. They go on in circles and I can imagine people just yelling and mashing keys as they type. But it eventually becomes excessive. It's the reason I stay out of Kotaku. I wrote an article about this very issue (which was triggered by the iOS5 unveiling): [www.thenoisecast.c

That's a joke right? It's clearly Xbox 360. Who would even think the PS3 is better? I mean, look at the sales numbers. :P

Best response ever.

Umm... I think I'll pass... I moved on fro Charmed years ago.

I live right across the street from them. I'll go ask them for you.

Oh, I wasn't starting anything. I was just curious what the problem with HBO was. So far, most people seem pretty happy with them. It's things like Starz and Showtime that I can't get behind.

What's wrong with HBO?

Agreed.

You guys should take a look at how this link was posted on Facebook. It was jacked up. (posted with Allin1social)

I don't know... this feels like a trap.

I... am suddenly more interested in it. I'll admit I had every intention of avoiding it altogether.

What is the picture after the independence day poster from?

MOAR! io9 must feed my hungry brain MOAR!! Seriously, these are the types of posts that made me fall in love with io9. As much as I loved everything else and would visit daily, it was these types of posts that made me put io9 as the first site on my speed dial.
