I guess the most telling part of my experience with that movie is that I only remember one gag rather clearly and that was the restroom designations. It was a throwaway sight gag, but absolutely brilliant. The other telling bit is that I've only seen it once.

I'll take your grouchiness over the bitter writing style that is currently prevailing on a certain gadget blog. You're very capable of expressing your distaste for something without downright trashing it.

I enjoyed Robots(which in no way is the same as thinking it was good), as well as the first Ice Age. Rio pretty much only exists in my mind as the very colorful version of Angry Birds that would actually run on my phone.

I love the part where you deride the music and art style while simultaneously rejecting anything fitting of the term "hipster". Work on your deliviery a bit and this post could be downright hilarious.

While I can certainly understand the habit of checking for historical accuracy in period movies in general, in cases where the title of the film is at least a little ridiculous, such as "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" I start to question the thought process of the viewer that still holds to that habit. It's a bit

"No one in this world has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people. Nor has anyone ever lost public office thereby."

Minus some hiccups shortly after launch, Kindle Fires being WiFi only didn't seem to be a problem for their customers. Also not a problem for most people buying laptops. Sure, gadget lovers might be a little disappointed at this omission but I don't think this will hurt its broader appeal.

I'm sorry, but I don't think Michael Bay knows the meaning of the word "grounded".

Take another look at the tablet she's using in this video.

Gizmodo: where humor goes to die.

I think Zune should actually be on both hands. Zune hardware? Flop. Zune software? Well designed and fairly successful. It wasn't a home-run but at least a ground double. I'd argue that SmartGlass, Kinect hardware and Security Essentials go in that first group, too, but Kinect software as yet undetermined.

Your entire first paragraph is so completely ridiculous. You named a list of tools that you consider to be superior but it doesn't matter. A person is ultimately content creator and as long as they have tools that allow them to create content, it largely doesn't matter who made the tool. Sure, there's a difference in

Linux on consumer desktops is very niche and Nvidia has done squat to support it. They won't buy in because it's a niche product and it's largely stuck being a niche product because Nvidia won't buy in. They only bought into Android because of how well it was doing in spite of them. That's pretty much why Linus gave

Android's marketshare would disagree with you.

Just because you treat something like a toy doesn't mean that it is one. Linux is a powerful workhorse, not my little pony.

Also, I think I last read Maxim about 4 issues after it came out. It just seems like Playboy for boys not old enough to buy porn, which seems even more obsolete given the current availability of porn online. Occasionally there was a good interview in Playboy, I can't be certain that's ever been true for Maxim.

I'll be honest, my bachelor party was a mix. We started with playing older video games that I still love and never get to play. Next was mini golf and dinner. Finally we went to a strip club.

While they do sell square bottom cups they still sell the original design as well. They distribute different styles and packages to different stores so if one store no longer sells the standard cup that's not an indication of what Solo is still producing.

Well done.

More and more I'm getting the impression that Gizmodo is written for 20-something city-dwellers and everyone else will be offended at some point. I thought this article might have something insightful(don't ask me why I thought that, I honestly don't know), or at the very least practical. To make up for my
